Frequently Asked Questions on rabies and vaccinations

Rabies is a seasonal concern.  Please go to the links below for info in response to frequently asked questions on Rabies prevention and treatment.

Rabies is a reportable disease under the federal Health of Animals Act.  The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is the responsible authority.  Any suspect cases of rabies in animals should be reported to your district CFIA veterinarian.
